Ulrich Schäfer
Ulrich Schäfer was born in 1967. After studying economics at the
University of Münster and in Washington, DC, he trained at the Henri
Nannen School of Journalism in Hamburg. Subsequently, he worked first
as a business journalist for Der Spiegel and then for Süddeutsche
Zeitung, where he has been head of the economics desk since the
beginning of 2007.
